Hello fellow Enrichers! Let's just be clear...this isn't me starting a blog. I just keep losing things and wanted to put them somewhere for safe keeping. This months' frequently misplaced resource is the Magic Reindeer Food Poem. Every year, I forget to make these with the kids until the last minute and then can't find a cutesy poem to put in the baggie. This year, I just decided to make my own and share, in case you lost yours, too. While I try to keep things “real and realistic” in our early childhood program, those magic reindeer are a mystery to savor and preserve throughout the early childhood years! Learning domains covered: Scientific Thinking & Approaches to Learning: Curiosity (what do reindeer really look like and eat?) Mathematic Thinking: Measurement (tablespoon, teaspoon, or cups) Social/emotional (taking turns to scoop) Language/literacy (poem genre) Social systems (cultural traditions, storytelling/folktales) What did I miss? Put it in the comments! Happy New Year! Enjoy this download!
